Experts Mingling and Communicating at Windtuner's Booth
Hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Turbo Expo remains one of the most influential events in the turbomachinery industry. From gas turbines and compressors to advanced propulsion systems and sustainable energy solutions, the conference serves as a meeting point for the technologies shaping the next generation of power and propulsion systems. For our team, it is an opportunity to engage directly with industry experts, academic researchers, and testing laboratories while showcasing the latest developments in flow field measurement and control technology.
At the exhibition, we showcased a range of our flow field measurement and data acquisition solutions, including our Ethernet Intelligent Pressure Scanner, five-hole probes, miniature five-hole probe anemometers, thermocouple data acquisition instruments, and five-hole differential pressure airspeed probes. Our products prove very useful for turbo engineers by applying these on complicated, advanced gas turbines, engines and compressors.
Turbomachinery & Pressure Measurement
Pressure measurement is one of the most important parts of turbomachinery research. Modern computation is powerful, but physical testing is still essential. As turbo designs optimize their efficiency and operation capability, engineers require increasingly accurate pressure, velocity, and temperature measurements to improve the flow field throughout the system. Windtuner provides a complete flow field measurement solution to address this need.
The Ethernet Intelligent Pressure Scanner is Windtuner's flagship measurement instrument. Designed for aerospace engines, gas turbines, compressors, and wind tunnel laboratories, it delivers an accuracy of up to ±0.05% FS and integrates 16 calibrated pressure channels within a compact architecture.

We also exhibited our customized five-hole probes, engineered for accurate velocity and flow angle measurements in complex three-dimensional flow fields. They are available in a wide range of geometries and configurations to be durable and accurate for every particular requirement.
The Miniature Five-Hole Probe Anemometer is a compact and integrated measurement system. It combines pressure sensing, atmospheric pressure measurement, temperature acquisition, and onboard data processing, delivering direct three-dimensional flow field analysis for wind tunnel testing, turbomachinery investigations, and flight-related applications.
Visitors can also learn about the Thermocouple Data Acquisition Instrument at our booth, a robust solution developed for multi-channel temperature measurement in demanding environments. The system provides stable and reliable thermal data collection for engine testing, turbine development, and laboratory research.

Windtuner's five-hole differential pressure airspeed probes are optimized for real-flight and real-environment applications. They capture velocity and flow angle information with high fidelity, providing valuable data for serious testing and research.
Connecting With the Global Engineering Community
Throughout the exhibition, our team engaged with professionals from universities, research institutes, engine manufacturers, gas turbine developers, and testing laboratories. Our discussions focused on flow field measurement challenges, customized probe development, pressure acquisition systems, and advanced testing methodologies for turbomachinery applications.

Discussing turbomachinery and aerodynamics
The deep and professional insights discussed at Turbo Expo 2026 reveal that the future of turbomachinery may very well depend on improvements in engineering, which begin with advanced and reliable data. By delivering accurate, trustworthy data acquisition solutions, Windtuner supports the research, testing, and development efforts that drive the next generation of turbines, compressors, engines, and propulsion systems.
Looking Ahead
As the Turbo Expo continues, we anticipate further discussions with industry professionals to explore new opportunities for cooperation. Just as the theme of this Expo suggests, turbomachinery, energy systems and relevant industries alike are experiencing a fast-changing world. Always dedicated to flow measurement and control technology, we wish that our pressure measurement technology can act as a compass to guide the turbomachinery industry through the changes in this revolutionary period.
